DTALcon 25 will be held at Tallwood High School on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.  To stay up to date on DTALcon news and register for the event click HERE.

As of 9:00 AM on Monday, August 4, 2025 attendees will no longer be able to make any changes in SCHED.  This will allow Conference Admin to prepare for the conference and print schedules.  You may still attend however since you are not able to sign up for a session it is advised that you attend sessions that are open.

This session is for HS instructional staff who have completed the “Essential AI for HS Educators” course. New to AI and not sure where to begin? Learn how AI can enhance—not replace—good teaching. With a focus on Google Gemini and VBCPS AI guidelines, participants will learn how to use AI as a professional tool for lesson planning, assessment, communication, and differentiation. Aligned with Compass to 2030, this session introduces practical, low-barrier strategies for integrating AI in ways that empower teachers and support student success.
