DTALcon 25 will be held at Tallwood High School on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.  To stay up to date on DTALcon news and register for the event click HERE.

As of 9:00 AM on Monday, August 4, 2025 attendees will no longer be able to make any changes in SCHED.  This will allow Conference Admin to prepare for the conference and print schedules.  You may still attend however since you are not able to sign up for a session it is advised that you attend sessions that are open.

Tired of watching perfectly good apple slices hit the trash? Ready to turn “Ew, compost!” into “Ooh, compost!”? Join us for an engaging, joy-filled journey into the world of food waste reduction in schools. We’ll dig into the messy magic of composting, explore real-world problem-solving projects that empower students to academically and socially excel, and show you how this work aligns beautifully with a smorgasbord of curricular standards—from science and math to ELA and social studies. This session is focused on elementary but can easily be adapted to all grade levels.
