About me
Dr. Ronel Brewer currently serves as an Administrator in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. He holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership that culminated in an application in recruitment and retention. He has been in education for more than 25 years. During his time as a teacher, he amassed numerous accolades. He is a former Teacher of the Year, Reading Teacher of the Year, and was a back-to-back finalist for the Steve Harvey Best Teacher Award. He is also a former varsity football and basketball coach who ran for his local school board. He is an Ordained Minister, Shriner, PHA Mason, and Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. As a happy husband and proud father of three, Dr. Brewer wants every educator to desire what he desires for his children: People invested in their success.
